Police seek witnesses to Anzac Day assault

A GOOD Samaritan was injured during an assault in Falcon on Anzac Day.

Around 10.30pm, the victim tried to help a man who was being assaulted by a group of people on Coco Drive.

The victim was approached by three of the men, while he was trying to help the man being attacked.

He received a deep laceration to his right arm during the assault.

The victim was admitted to Royal Perth Hospital to have surgery.

Police believe the three males were also involved in an earlier altercation inside a nearby tavern.

The first man is of a medium build, with brown short hair, he was wearing grey hooded jumper, dark track pants and black shoes.

The second man has a solid build, brown hair, he was wearing a grey long sleeved jumper with a white motif, dark grey pants and black shoes.

The third man has a slim build, he was wearing a black cap, black hooded jumper, grey track pants and red shoes.
