THE Port Mandurah canals have been festively fitted with Christmas lights for this year’s Rotary wishing well.

Rotarian Martin Robinson said $95,000 has already been raised from the wishing well this year.

“Last year we raised $20,000 so we’ve currently raised $115,000 in total over the past two years which is great,” he said.

“We divide the proceeds between nine local charities and community groups.

“We would be very grateful if those cruising by could spare a thought for those less fortunate than themselves this Christmas and throw some spare change into the wishing well.”
