PRIMADONNA Productions has been invited to perform a segment of their show Downtown – The Mod Musical at the Independent Theatre Association’s prestigious 44th annual Finley Awards at Subiaco Arts Centre later this month.

The Pinjarra-based company staged Downtown at Mandurah’s Fishtrap Theatre last August in conjunction with Mandurah Performing Arts Centre’s community partnership programme, and enjoyed a sell-out season.

Directed and choreographed by Carole Dhu, with musical direction by Kenn Ellis, the show was a bright, comical and occasionally moving look at life in the UK during the 1960s.
