Problem intersection being considered for upgrade

The road has been identified as one of the City of Mandurah's red roads. Red roads are those in the region that have been identified as of high importance. A classification of red road also reduces the costs of land acquisitions if they are needed.

A review of crash data at this intersection shows that there have been 39 crashes in five years. A significant portion of these are indirect right-angled crashes from Dower Street and Coolibah Avenue.
