Program lets Ryan draw on his art

The Halls Head student spends hours each week on his art and has an impressive collection of drawings.

The Variety Scholarship Program encourages endeavours such as ballet, singing, dancing, drama, language, basketball and athletics.

The presentation was held at Heath Ledger Theatre on Friday, February 5.

Variety chief executive Michael Pailthorpe said the scholarships had the ability to change the lives of local youth in need and shape their success for years to come.

“We are thrilled to offer this opportunity to children and young people who might not otherwise have the means to develop their talents and follow their dreams,” he said.
