More than 25 children at the centre were visited by Yarloop fireman Robert Phyllis.

He spoke to them about fire safety and told them what to do in a fire.

Centre spokeswoman Sheryl Jones said they had raised $800 so far for Yarloop.

The centre still has unique “thank you fireys” bibs, nappy covers and dummy clips for sale, which should add to the total, she said.
