Ravenswood raid after Broadmore burglary

POLICE claim a man forced his way into a home under construction on Broadmore Loop, Meadow Springs at 11.10am on Sunday.

It is alleged he pulled an air conditioning unit off the home, damaging the wall. Police claim he also removed and stole a control panel for the alarm system, before driving away.

As a result of inquiries, Mandurah Local Policing Team officers executed a search warrant at a home in Jolly Rambler, Ravenswood on Thursday.

During the search police allegedly found and seized stolen timber, a sum of cash, drug paraphernalia, approximately 58g of cannabis and about one gram of Methylamphetamine.

A 27-year-old Ravenswood man was charged with two counts of possess drug paraphernalia, burglary with intent, stealing, possess prohibited drug with intent to sell/supply (methylamphetamine) and possess prohibited drug with intent to sell/supply (cannabis).

He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on May 13.
