Ryder wrote, sang, played, recorded and produced his entire album in his home studio, offering listeners the chance to experience a rare multi- instrumentalist powering his way through catchy guitar and banjo driven county rock/pop tunes.

He has been chosen to join the ranks of Australia’s greatest musicians including Jessica Mauboy, Lee Kernaghan, Mark Seymour, James Reyne, Ian Moss and James Blundell at the Birdsville Big Red Bash in 2017 and has shared a stage with Sting, Chris Isaak, Bryan Ferry, John Farnham, Shirley Bassey, James Morrison and Screaming Jets.

Ryder started his musical career alongside ‘60s groups such as The Four Kinsmen and The Troupadores and has been the face of many TV adverts including Retravision’s You Got It.
