Reconnect Mandurah holding workshops for parents of teenagers to explore issues related to self-care

The workshops would be suited to families who are struggling with conflict in the home.

The Reconnect program is run through Mission Australia and provides free and confidential services.

The aim of the program is to offer early intervention, counselling and practical support to young people and their families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

A spokeswoman said there were prevailing issues around youth unemployment, drugs and homelessness in the Peel region.
