The lunch was held to celebrate Volunteers Week and was sponsored by VolunteersWA and LotteryWest.
Councillor Rhys Williams spoke at the meeting about the importance of volunteer organisations in the community.
Rescue group grants officer Lana Jones said grant funding allowed the group to give something back to the amazing people who worked tirelessly to care for injured, ill, orphaned and displaced native fauna.
