RIVERSIDE Primary School’s kindy kids held a Father’s Day event for dads and male role models last week .

Kindy teacher Ms Danielle Simlinger said students spent the afternoon paper plane making, painting portraits, completing an obstacle course and competing in tug of war.

“We were lucky enough to have Bunnings Greenfields jump on board and donate terracotta pots and seedlings, along with potting mix and safety gear, for each child to plant a seed with their father or male role models,” she said.

Domino’s Mandurah also supported the event and donated 42 pizza’s and 10 garlic breads for everyone to share.

“It was wonderful to see so many dads and male role models enjoy lots of activities with their child and chat to other dads over pizza,” she said.
