Road safety forum Mandurah

A ROAD safety forum will be held in Mandurah next month.

The Road Safety Council is consulting with communities across WA on a new Road Safety Strategy.

Mandurah MLA David Templeman said more than 2200 people are killed or seriously injured annually on our roads.

“That’s a life lost or permanently changed due to injury on WA roads every four hours,” he said.

“Nationally the conversation is focused on a target of zero deaths and serious injuries by 2050.”

Mr Templeman said anyone who could not attend the forum could still provide feedback on the Imagine Zero website https://imaginezero.rsc.wa.gov.au/consultation/survey_tools/Consultationform.

“This community consultation is your opportunity to make a difference for decades to come,” he said.
