Body found in Bluff Knoll search

POLICE believed they have found the body of missing photographer Matthew Dwyer today.

The search for Beaconsfield photographer Matthew Dwyer, 51, began after members of the public found his backpack and keys on Bluff Knoll at 7.30am yesterday.

Mr Dwyer’s white Nissan Campervan was found in the car park at Bluff Knoll, north east of Albany.

The search continued this morning with police deploying the Air Wing, including a helicopter and drone.

Police confirmed they found a body at the base of a steep incline just before midday, identity yet to be confirmed but believed to be Mr Dwyer.

Bluff Knoll Road, carpark and walk trail remain closed to the public due to the police operation, until further notice.
