Secret Harbour fatal crash: police charge 19-year-old man

MAJOR Crash officers have charged a 19-year-old man after an investigation into a Secret Harbour fatal crash from last month.

The crash happened at 6.30pm on Secret Harbour Boulevard, on Friday, October 6.

Police allege the silver Toyota Supra sedan was travelling east along Secret Harbour Boulevard when it crashed into a tree.

A 16-year-old boy who was travelling in the back of the car received serious injuries.

16-year-old Callum Mummery, who was travelling in the back, and 17-year-old Mason Hooton travelling in the front both died from the injuries they received.

A 19-year-old Barragup man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death and one of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.

He will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on November 28.
