About 4pm a man was in a retail outlet in Mandurah Road. The manager and security officer were speaking to the man when he threatened them with a bladed weapon.

Police said he struck the security guard in the shoulder causing a minor laceration.

The man left the store knocking over a bin on the way out.

The man is olive skinned, 20 to 30 years of age. He is of slim build, has facial hair and black hair with a spider tattoo on his right cheek.

He was wearing a baseball cap, grey Bonds tee-shirt, grey shorts and was carrying a black backpack.
