Centre manager Jacqueline McKenzie said the Mandurah Mall Walk was an easy way for community members to come together regardless of the weather in a safe environment that helps maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

“The Mandurah Mall Walk has obvious health benefits but it’s also a fantastic social outing to meet new people and have a chat along the way,” Ms McKenzie said.

Jetts Club manager Ebony Page said regular brisk walking helped maintain a healthy weight.

“It can prevent or manage various conditions including heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and strengthen bones and muscles,” she said.
