Shire President Wally Barrett, chief executive Dean Unsworth, councillors and staff were all on deck to serve volunteers a barbecue breakfast.
The celebrations also included the presentation of the 2013 Volunteer Awards.
Kevin Allan Jones won the Volunteer of the Year Award for his outstanding commitment to Pinjarra Fire and Rescue Services, Pinjarra RSL and Murray Districts Little Athletics Club over 38 years.
