A SMOKE alert has been issued for Yanchep down to Mandurah, for the Perth CBD and Perth Hills.

The Parks and Wildlife Service advised that the smoke is due to prescribed burns being carried in the area by DBCA’s Parks and Wildlife Service and is expected to clear by tomorrow morning.

People should shut doors and windows and turn off air-conditioners if the smoke gets too thick.
