A BUMPER Easter Carnival is planned at St Damien’s Catholic Primary School on Sunday at 10am to 2pm.

The Parents and Friends Association volunteers have put together a fantastic community day themed around promoting healthy and active kids, supported by a City of Mandurah community grant.

The carnival features attractions for visitors to enjoy such community group, sporting club and school run stalls, markets, amusements, music and entertainment.

Children can bring along a pre-made decorated hat or get crafty on the day in the free Easter Hat making tent.

Then there is a parade to show off the children’s handiwork.

Other highlights for kids will be the Spider Mountain Rock climb and bounce, inflatable water slides and castles, teacup and Segway rides and free carnival fun activities.

Students from other schools will be entertaining the crowd as well as talent from St Damien’s and an art auction.

Peel Region Rabbit Club will bring along some bunnies for a pat and visitors can try their luck at the many raffle prizes donated by Mandurah businesses.

The treasure hunt buried eggs raffle will stir up the giant sandpit.

There will be healthy food options such as a sausage sizzle and a burger bar.

Food fans include The Woolly Bull, Black Velvet & Honey, Dinner Peace, Dawn Patrol Mobile and Crush Juice.
