CANTWELL Park will ring out with the sound of carols as the Shire of Murray’s annual Christmas celebration at Pinjarra returns to the banks of the Murray River on Wednesday, December 5 between 5pm and 7.30pm.

Shire president David Bolt said the celebration was a highlight of the event calendar and offered entertainment for all ages.

Stallholder applications are now open across a range of categories.

The shire is seeking food vendors and activity providers and local vendors and artisans are particularly encouraged to apply.

The event attracts people from across the region and, according to Cr Bolt, is an opportune platform for business and talent exposure.

Volunteers are also sought to help with set up and pack down as well as general hand responsibilities.

Further information and application forms are available from murray.wa.gov.au or 9531 7724.

Applications close on October 9.
