Local students will be involved in the production of The Moon’s a Balloon.

TWO Mandurah schools will perform in Patch Theatre’s The Moon’s a Balloon at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on May 3 and 4.

Choir leader Rose Brown and South Halls Head Primary School Senior Choir, along with the choir from Halls Head Community College led by Rebecca Ream, will be part of the performance.

Students have the chance to get professional guidance from Young Adelaide Voices artistic director Christie Anderson. They have been rehearsing for months and have given up much of their free time to practise.

The Moon’s a Balloon explores childhood play, invention, friendship and connection in a visual performance complemented by lighting, digital imagery and a stunning soundscape.

It can be seen this Tuesday at 7pm and Wednesday, April 27, at 10am.
