Finger cut by sword during Dawesville home invasion

AN occupant of a home in Dawesville suffered a cut finger from a sword during a home invasion on Monday morning.

A police media spokesman said two to three people arrived at the door of the Ringtail Path home about 4.45am.

They went inside and an altercation occurred.

The visitors left soon after.

St John Ambulance were called to the home and they alerted police.

The occupants were treated for a cut finger and pepper spray injuries.

Police believe drugs may have been stolen during the home invasion.
