PEEL Youth Services family support officer Tanya Langford has won the City of Mandurah Convention Scholarship as part of the Aspire Program.

Mandurah Mayor Marina Vergone said Ms Langford was a deserving winner who was doing wonderful work in her role.

“Tanya is passionate about raising the profile of youth violence in the home,” she said.

“She will be a strong advocate for Mandurah, with the hope of bringing an event here in the future which focuses on family and domestic violence, which in turn will increase our knowledge base and go a long way towards helping our community.”
