HALLS Head Primary School students who have been learning about How to be Kind to Themselves and support their learning, had a visit from the Teddy Bear Hospital.
The benefits of the hospital visit includes reduced fear in medical environments, education of health practices, creativity and imagination and encouragement and involvement in a fun community medicine program.
The Teddy Bear Hospital visit involved four stations – activities, waiting room, talk about visiting doctor and consultation, a treatment plan and a nursing station.
