Mundijong Police and Mandurah Local Policing Team officers searched the house about 5.10pm in response to numerous stealing offences reported across the South-East and South Metropolitan districts.

The plaques were stolen from public information areas, war memorial sites, cemeteries and cremation memorial parks. Recently, plaques were stolen from the Byford Memorial Park.

It will be alleged that during the search, police found a quantity of metal plaques, which included War Memorial and National Servicemen plaques. Other items were also seized, including two living long-necked turtles, a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
