Thousands show up to Mandurah’s Food Truck Rumble

SHAPE Mandurah’s first Food Truck Rumble was a roaring success.

More than 2500 meals were sold and thousands more people showed up to the event.

Despite complaints about lines and crowds, most of the feedback post event was positive, according the Candice DiPrinzio.

“Being the first event we were overwhelmed with a Mandurah’s support,” she said.

“We will have more food trucks next month and push out to more space.

“We are trying to focus on areas in a Mandurah’s city centre other than the foreshore that are under-utilised and need activation.”

Ms DiPrinzio asked that the people of Mandurah continue supporting their events which with be “better and more comfortable for all”.

She also thanked Cape Bouvard and Gary Godfrey for use of the Barrack’s Lane space.

The Food Tuck Rumble is on the last Tuesday of every month.
