THREE men have been arrested following an armed robbery at a petrol station in Barragup on Sunday afternoon.
At 4pm, a silver Daewoo with stolen numberplates was driven to the petrol station on Pinjarra Road.
While one man refuelled the car, another entered the service station with his face covered and threatened the cashier with a syringe, before leaving with cash.
About 45 minutes later, police found the car crashed into a tree at the intersection of Old Pinjarra Road and Teranca Road in, Greenfields and arrested three men at the scene.
A 49-year-old Mandurah man was charged with armed robbery, three counts of stealing, reckless driving, possession of cannabis, two counts of driving without a licence and using a numberplate that was not his.
A 25-year-old Coodanup man has been summonsed for driving without a licence and a 30-year-old Falcon man has been summonsed for possessing a prohibited weapon.
They will appear in court at a later date.
