Three wins for Halse

Vanessa SchmittMandurah Coastal Times

It was an impressive effort from the Chris Halse-trained chaser as he overcame "the lemon", box five, as well as red hot field that included Astronomize and Thunder Rama to collect the cash.

After initially lagging behind the fast-jumping Thunder Ramato to concede a five-length lead, All Strung Out quickly clicked into gear and mowed down the leader.

All Strung Out surged to the front at the top of the home straight and then powered to the finish line to cross nearly three lengths ahead of Thunder Rama.

The time of 27.53 was a new personal best for All Strung Out and improved his record to 20 wins from 59 starts.
