It is a free event intended to help members of the community who may be struggling with basic pet requirements.
RSPCA inspectors, RSPCA dog trainers, local rangers, South Metropolitan Tafe vet staff and other rescue organisations are expected to be on site. Attendees can learn how to be responsible pet owners and deal with common problems such as fleas, worms, ticks, fly bitten ears, mange, shelter, food and water.
The RSPCA WA will work with rangers to explain pet registrations and local council laws. There will also be vets available to give free advice and check-ups.
