A TRAIN has failed at Canning Bridge station this morning, causing serious disruptions on the Mandurah train line.
One passenger on the Mandurah line said they had initially been told they would be disembarking at Aubin Grove.
Instead the train proceeded slowly, and the passenger said the stops at stations were much longer than usual.
Specialist equipment will be used to move the stuck train.
A Transperth spokesperson said another train would be used to shunt the stationary train into an area where it could be removed from the line.
Trains on the Mandurah and Joondalup Lines are currently experiencing delays due to a technical issue. Thanks for your patience.
