Trainee program aids reconciliation

The City�s vision for reconciliation is to create an inclusive community with strong relationships across cultures, based on mutual respect and understanding.

The traineeships were a part of council achieving its goal of finding new, meaningful ways to tackle issues with the Aboriginal community.

Trainees met with RAP Steering Group members and high-level City of Mandurah representatives, including Mandurah Mayor Marina Vergone.

Olympia Harris Motlop in Customer Services is completing a Certificate III in Business Administration.

Matthew White in City Parks is completing a Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management.

Jordan De Stephano in libraries is completing a Certificate IV in library, information and cultural services.
