“Just near Meadow Springs a car pulled out in front of Ben colliding into him.

“It was at that point our boy took his last breath and grew his wings.

“We have been reassured he suffered no pain. We all love you Ben, you passed away doing something you loved best.”

Shocked friends described Ben as irreplaceable and the “nicest, funniest guy”.

At the weekend his mother and family went to the site where Ben died to pay tribute to him.

Power Crew Southside – the social motorbike group he was part of – are organising a tribute ride for him on July 17.

Major Crash officers are investigating the crash.

They claim that at 2:54pm, Ben’s black Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling north along Mandurah Road when it collided with a gold Toyota Camry travelling south.

The officers claim that the 84-year-old driver of the Toyota Camry executed a right hand turn into Ronsard Drive and collided with Ben’s motorcycle.

The 84-year-old man was not injured.

Major Crash investigators want people who saw Ben’s motorcycle or the gold Toyota Camry before the crash, or who saw the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
