Two Harley-Davidson bikes involved in fatal Ravenswood smash

A MAN has died after a crash in Ravenswood involving two Harley-Davidson motorbikes.

About 5.15pm, at the intersection of Old Mandurah Road and Lazenby Avenue, a black 2001 model Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck a stationary silver Mazda 2 hatch before hitting an oncoming silver, 2013 model Harley-Davidson.

The rider of the black Harley-Davidson, a 48-year-old man, received critical injuries and died at the scene.

The rider of the silver Harley-Davidson, a 47-year-old man received serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.

The driver of the Mazda was not injured.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw, or has dashcam vision of the Harley Davidsons or the Mazda 2 hatch in the area prior to the crash.
