ANZ bank branches in Falcon and Mandurah East will close next month.

In an email to customers, ANZ said the Perth South branch network was being reconfigured to reflect changing business patterns.

“Our brand new digital branch, which will be able to service all your daily transactional, home loan and commercial needs, is located at Mandurah Forum Shopping Centre and will open on Wednesday, December 6,” the email said.

“This means that our Mandurah East and Falcon branches will be merging into our new location at Mandurah Forum.”

An ANZ spokeswoman said the Mandurah Forum digital branch would offer new technology to make banking quicker, easier and more efficient for customers.

“Digital banking options available for customers at Mandurah Forum will include Wi-Fi, next generation smart ATMs, and staff can show customers how to use Apple Pay and our mobile banking app,” she said.

“Customers wishing to see a banker to talk about more complex needs, such as a home or business loan, will be able to schedule an appointment.

“We are currently working through redeployment opportunities for our staff members and are supporting them through this transition period.”

The Mandurah East (Pinjarra Road) branch will close at 2pm on Friday, December 1.

The Falcon branch will close at 2pm on Thursday, December 7.
