DETECTIVES have charged two men after a report a firearm was discharged at a vehicle about 12km south-east of Dwellingup on Friday.
It will be alleged at around 11.40am, a 39-year-old woman was driving between Dwellingup and Boddington on the Pinjarra-Williams Road when she saw a man in the bush on the side of the road.
As she drove past, the man discharged a firearm, which pierced the rear passenger door of her Mitsubishi Pajero where her three-year-old son was seated.

During the search it will be alleged police found and seized a .22 rifle, assorted ammunition, cannabis material, two cannabis plants and drug paraphernalia.
A 22-year-old man of Inglehope has been charged with aggravated possession of a firearm, unlicensed person possessing ammunition, possessing cannabis and cultivate cannabis.
A 21-year-old man of Collie has been charged with possessing cannabis with intent to sell/supply.
Both men are due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on December 6.
