MANDURAH’S Eastern Foreshore will come alive this New Year’s Eve with a range of entertainment, activities, two fireworks displays and free family fun.
The City of Mandurah’s Community New Year’s Eve Celebrations should see more than 35,000 locals and visitors welcome the New Year and join the festivities from 6pm to midnight.
The main stage line-up includes Danny Bau, hip hop dancer Brendan Buens, The Merindas and The Blue Beats.

READ NOWThe ever popular Sector X Youth Zone, run by the City’s Youth Development team, will be offering activities including amusements, a gaming zone, laser tag, a photo booth and more.
There will be carnival rides and food vendors.
The first of the fireworks displays will light up the sky above the Peel-Harvey Estuary at 9pm.
The entertainment will continue until the second fireworks show at midnight.
There will be a free shuttle bus leaving every 20 minutes from the Mandurah Train Station to the Mandurah Visitor Centre.
A wheel chair accessible bus will be available every 40 minutes.
The event is a family-friendly, alcohol and smoke free event.
Police officers will be taking a no-tolerance approach to anyone consuming alcohol on the foreshore.
For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees at the celebrations, road and water closures will be in place.
Mandurah Terrace between Cooper Street and Pinjarra Road will be closed during the event from 5pm on December 31 to 12.30am on January 1.
