Union: “full force of the law” must come down on woman who allegedly bit a Mandurah police officer

THE WA Police Union has slammed an alleged attack on a police officer at Mandurah Police Station at the weekend.

The unnamed Constable was left with visible bite marks on her neck.

An 18-year-old was alleged to have attacked the officer who was taking her to a change room following an arrest.

The officer suffered bleeding, visible teeth indentations and must wait for the results of mandatory blood testing.

“This assault is absolutely disgusting, deplorable and completely out of line,” Union president George Tilbury said.

“Police officers give their all for the community and do not deserve to be assaulted while they are doing their job.

“The full force of the law must come down on this offender, as the community and our members will accept nothing less.”
