THERE were no ugly ducklings when Mandurah Cruises captured their latest wildlife video – just five cute cygnets.

The crew at Mandurah Cruises have become well-known for their amazing dolphin videos.

But on Monday, it was all about capturing these babies having a drink.

Tour guide Kat captured this video of the popular local swans.

“A swan pair brought their cygnets over to our departure jetty yesterday, to feast on the seaweed in the area and get some fresh water to drink from our crew,” the video description read.

“It has been wonderful to watch these five cygnets grow from fluffy little chicks the size of your hand.

“The parents are well known resident swans in the region, often seen in the canals and throughout town waters.

“They nested in the Samphire Cove Nature Reserve which is a well protected bird sanctuary and when their young were old enough brought them into town waters, where they now spend most of their time.”
