LADIES of the Peel Region it’s time to find your most elegant dress and a fascinator to match as the WA Country Cups Fashions on the Field is back with the first heat of the competition in Mandurah this Saturday.

Guest judge and 2018 WA Country Cups Ambassador Abbey Gelmi said the competition, to be held at the Pinjarra Ladies Day, has gone from strength to strength.

“Everyone has been stepping up their game and it’s a pleasure to watch,” she said.

“I would love to see even more ladies enter the competition and have a go, and why not when they have a chance to win a trip of a lifetime to London with $10,000 spending money.

“I am really looking forward to judging for the first time. I am looking for elegance, confidence and a lady who really stands out from the crowd.”

The WA Country Cups Fashions on the Field is a state-wide racing fashion competition open to ladies from all over WA, consisting of nine regional heats, held at major country race meetings across the state.

The winner of the Peel heat will receive an invitation to compete in the WA Country Cups Fashions on the Final at Ascot Racecourse in December, where they will compete against other regional finalists for a trip for two to London.
