A MOTORCYCLIST killed in a crash at Meelon in the Peel region was riding with a group of six bikes when his Harley Davidson crashed.

Major Crash officers say the 21-year-old died when he failed to negotiate a bend on Sunday afternoon.

“Just before 1pm a group of six motorcyclists turned into Burnside Road from Coolup Road East,” police said.

“Shortly after, the third motorcyclist in the group failed to negotiate a sweeping right hand curve, left the road and struck a culvert and a tree.”
