POLICE have revealed the name of the man shot by police in Wannanup on Sunday.
Hayden Paul Stacey (22) was taken to Peel Health Campus with a bullet wound in the early hours of Sunday morning and died soon after.
Police said South Metro Response officers were patrolling in Wannanup after reports of a man acting suspiciously in the area.

READ NOWPolice claim Mr Stacey was armed with a knife in Rod Court, near The Pines restaurant, about 12.20am.
Police said Mr Stacey moved towards an officer and ignored requests to drop the knife.
Officers discharged their tasers and when these proved ineffective, discharged a firearm.
Police administered CPR to Mr Stacey at the scene before St John Ambulance took him to Peel Health Campus.
Detectives from the Homicide Squad and Internal Affairs Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
