Warning for Mandurah foreshore visitors after 4m shark spotted

SURF Life Saving have issued a warning for Mandurah foreshore visitors after a four-metre shark was spotted this afternoon.

The alert was issued after 1.30pm, when the a fisheries officer spotted the unknown species of shark.

The shark was 100m offshore, about halfway across the channel, swimming towards Kings Carnival.

This area is a popular spot for swimming and crabbing.
