It is out of control and unpredictable.

Residents are asked to leave now in a northerly direction if the way is clear.

They are told not to wait as leaving at the last minute is deadly.

Due to embers ahead of the fire, residents are asked to close all doors and windows and to turn off evaporative air conditioners, but keep water running through the system if possible.

Residents, who plan to stay and defend, are warned not to rely on mains water pressure as it may be affected.

People, who cannot leave, are asked to get ready to shelter in their homes and actively defend it.

Firefighters are actively fighting the fire and aerial support is assisting them.

The fire was reported at 11.05am today and the cause of the fire is unknown.
