Victoria RificiMandurah Coastal Times

THE City of Mandurah has removed a whale carcass from north Florida Beach in Mandurah after it was reported at 12pm yesterday.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development released a statement urging locals to exercise caution when entering the Mandurah beach.

The department said it was possible that residue from where the whale carcass was beached could lead to sharks coming close in to shore.
