WICKED Dance Works principal Louisa Grant will be mixing with some of the biggest names in Hollywood after she won the trip of a lifetime.

The Dudley Park dancer will represent Australia at the celebrity-studded Industry Dance Awards in the US on August 16.

The organisers of the awards invited Mrs Grant on an all-expenses paid trip to Hollywood after she won a Studio of Excellence Award at the Rainbow Dance Competition.

“It’s basically the Oscars of dance awards,” Mrs Grant said.

“Last year the awards were received and attended by Paula Abdul, Derek Hough, Nigel Lithgoe, Vanessa Hutchins and many more major Hollywood stars.”

Mrs Grant is the only West Australian invited and will join two other studio directors from other states.
