The annual awards recognise and reward the extraordinary and long-term contributions of doctors working in rural, regional and remote WA.

Dr Ross Henderson received a 30-Year Service Award, awarded to doctors who have worked in rural settings throughout WA for more than 30 years.

Dr Henderson chose to work in rural medicine for the opportunity to practise a wide range of medical and procedural skills and remains passionate about supporting his local community.

Dr Stephen Bailey received a 20-Year Service Award.
