Halls Head Primary to sing at conference

HALLS Head Primary School students have been busy perfecting their performance in preparation for the Western Australian Primary Principals Conference at Crown Perth on Friday.

Under the tutelage of Sian Dhu, the school choir was selected to close at the conference.

Students will perform an excerpt from the Wizard of Oz, including a short dramatic introduction, a choral rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, followed by a conceptual tornado dance.

Miss Dhu said it was a terrific accolade for the choir to be chosen from a competitive field.

“It is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents in front of primary leaders, members of the community and educationalists from across the State,” she said.
