Almost every week we receive emails promoting their latest philanthropic pursuits.

For example, they are holding free children's workshops on July 25 and 26 to celebrate the 20th year of Planet Ark's National Tree Day. The aim of the sessions is to provide kids with an opportunity to do something positive for the environment.

We were bemused however, with their mission to help a Waroona animal sanctuary.

Apparently, the Greener Pastures Animal Sanctuary owners sent out an SOS for help with their naughty goats.

"The goats were misbehaving and getting into mischief," the Bunnings PR person explained.

So, the Mandurah Bunnings team swung into action, building a goat tower with old pallets.

Peel Tyres donated tyres for a maze to "keep the goats entertained."

We love the photos. The goats (and a pig) seemed more interested in the construction of the tower, rather than the completed product.
