Zonta International celebrates centenary

ZONTA International’s 100th anniversary was celebrated with a state reception at Parliament House.

The six WA Zonta clubs were represented at the event including the Mandurah group.

Mandurah was represented by President Deborah McLeod-Watson, President elect Nicky Hooper, two past presidents Lorraine Webb and Wendy Kirkby as well as charter members Bev Jackson and Liz Woodgate.

Minister for Child Protection and Women’s Interests Simone McGurk addressed the guests, recognising the importance of Zonta over the past 100 years and congratulating all clubs for the work they do to improve the lives of women and girls through service and advocacy.
