Address problem

John Parker, MandurahMandurah Coastal Times

Despite communications to the council and the councillor representing my ward, they have not had the courtesy to respond to my concerns about derelict properties.

In particular, I refer to one building in our street that is derelict, burnt-out, boarded up, a repository for rubbish and attracting vermin for at least the past five years.

Maybe our newly elected mayor, councillors and rangers can take some time to tour our ‘Vibrant City’ to really see and address our concerns.

In addition to the above, maybe they should also consider the piles of rubbish accumulated or stored in back yards, which are unseen yet a fire hazard.

I do urge people having such problems to contact their local councillor if and when they may present your concerns.
